1/ How can you tell how many hours the lamp has been used?

2/ Is there a way that you can tell how many lamps have been used in an LT150?

3/ Which of the following is the best player to use with LT150: HTPC, Denon 2800, Panny RP91, or Pioneer DV-37?

4/ Is there any DIY site that show you how to build component-to-VGA cable?

Thanks,

DP

1) Bring up the menu - go to Help, go to Information, go to Tab4

2) Not that I am aware of

3) In terms of picture quality HTPC, followed by progressive scan DVD player.

How much of a tweaker are you?

HTPC is the best but requires you to fiddle with many settings etc to get the best picture.

I wanted the plug and play route so I choose to use the progressive DVD player. I'm using the Panasonic RP91 primarily because of it's ability to zoom nonanamorphic DVDs into progressive mode. It also have many tweaking capabilities. I'm very happy with the results.

4) Search here for that topic it has been discussed previously.

Good luck!

Number 1 is not totally true as you can reset the counter at anytime, kind of like rolling back the odometer.
