So I saw the post of the xbox speakers from pioneer and went to the link thinking i could buy them, and what do you know I can't. Well now i wanted to know if any of the bright minds at AVS forum could direct me to some speakers similar to the Pioneer Xbox speakers or if there is still some place where i can purchase a new pair. Oh and the whole point is finding something for under $100 or close to that price that is a good quality. So Please help and I appreciate any input.

Well It seems i will have to save up a bit for the set off of google, but none the less im gladd to see that i can purchase them somewhere new from some retailer, because i was afraid no one had them for sale. But wow it must have been a real steal to nab those speakers for 90 bucks whenever that was..too bad i missed it
. But again appreciated Tronn.

At 160$ don't some of the onkyo htib setups become purchasable if you find a good sell?

I had this setup. I wasn't very impressed. I found it almost impossible to watch movies on it as the dialogue was impossible to make out.

Personally I would try to grab a refurb Onkyo HTIB for around the same price.

Maybe the "original Xbox" Spherex setup was better?

Yes it was better, no comparison on the SQ.

But then I don't think it ever went for $90 either

i think it was around $500.... but it was also plagued with problems and failures, where the pioneer system was not.

There is a setting to bump up the dialogue. The choices are Off, Mid and Max.
