I am using the RX-V1400 as a prepro only and would like to make the best of the 1400's internal amps too. My questions are;

1) How do I run two (2) additional sets of speakers and what would the settings be?

2) How do I adjust Lip-Sync or is it auto?

3) While watching a movis in DD/DTS the display says Surr-Standard and even if it is in ES/EX mode the display still says that but the small displays on the unit do say what is being played, i.e. DTS-ES, 96/24, DD-EX, etc.

I'm also curious what the range on the audio delay (lip-sync) is. There's no way it could be "auto", and I really really hope there isn't only one setting.

Ouch, 24ms? That's just under 1.5 fields. Most decent deinterlacers introduce a 3-4 field delay, and some higher end ones can be 7+.

Are you sure you're not confusing it with the front vs. rear speaker delay setting? A range of 0-24ms sounds much more appropriate for that.
