And let us know if it works with a Mac.

It's small, has a touch pad, Bluetooth, the keyboard is back lit, and costs less than $50. What more could you want in your home theater?

I want one specifically designed to work with a Mac. I'm using a Logitech diNovo Mini

which is very good, but drivers for IBM-PCs only. Many of the keys don't do what you expect with a Mac and that requires a bit of learning. Some keys will not work at all. I assume the tomtop mini will be the same.

I saw that little keyboard thing too and even a video review (search for it on Youtube). In the review they use it from 6" away from the machine they have it attached to. I've tried MANY cheap wireless keyboards and they've all sucked terribly except for the Dinovo Mini via Bluetooth. The issue being that the Dinovo Mini ISN'T cheap at all! If this thing has decent range, I'm totally in and could use a few. Though not in that naaaaasty white color! So yeah, someone go buy one and test it for us. You'll get a cookie

I guess the diNovo mini is a bit expensive. I think if you put it in perspective with what you are spending on the rest of your HT gear, you might change your mind (I did). Anyway, I followed up on it because of this thread and found out that using the included USB device limits its use with Macs. Just pair it up with your Mac and most of the keys work as advertised, even the POWER button. Combine that with Remote Buddy and it's a powerful addition to the HT arsenal. Disclaimer: I don't own stock in Logitech.

As an alternative, there are times when I don't even bother with turning on the keyboard and mouse. If I only use FrontRow, I can turn on my Mini, and just use either the Apple remote or the my Logitech Harmony to control FrontRow. Just hit the menu button, FrontRow pops up, and your off and running.
