Zenith HDTV Receiver HDV420 in question.


Has anyone successfull connected this receiver to the Panny 42" EDTV

via PC input. If so, are all aspect ratios available?

I have the Zenith 520 connected to my Panny 42' EDTV vis the 15 pin RGB/PC connection. Although you cannot adjust the color or tint for this connection (I've never seen this to be a problem however), the aspect controls are the same as those for any other connection.

I'm using the Zenith 420 with the PC input on my Panny 42". In PC mode, Normal (4:3), Zoom, and Full are available. Zoom is designed to expand a 2.35:1 anamorphic movie picture to fill the whole screen. The 420 only allows changing *its* aspect ratio (most useful: 4:3 -> 16:9) in 480p mode (not 1080i or 720p).
