I wonder though is this the guy who was soliciting "gleeful" comments on AVS awhile back that caused an uproar?

No way to know at this point. Was there a lurker? Wouldn't that conflict with journalistic integrity? I remember when that phrase actually meant something. I guess we'll have to accept the writing for what it is and leave it at that, for now, until more facts arise.
