I feel really stupid asking this, as I have seen this before, but cannot remember what I did..

In the video mode on ths Sony 1270, the height and width are close to max. I can shrink them when I go into the 'test' mode, and then save my changes, but as soon as I switch back to an image, the height and width go back to max. Al other convergence parameters save normally.

RGB works fine.

I had one of these sets do this, and I had to end up using the RGB size button even when in video mode, but this one gives me the 'not applicable, not in RGB mode' error message.

What am I missing?

Thanks!

Hi Curt,

With the 1270, you must :

1) enter to the service mode

2) push the "size" button (not the "RGB-size" button)

3) press the "adj. G" button (yet, you must see the message " RGB size " on the screen

4) press again, and hold down, the "test" button for about 3 seconds ( After this, the picture from S-video input will appear again )

5) adjust and save

;)
