sony 1270Q component

Hi all, I've just hooked up my Blue-Ray player to my Sony 1270Q using the three component plugs from the player (pr pb y) to the component inputs on the projector, but all i get is a green picture. Does anyone know why this is?

which input card does the projector have

IFB 11 or IFB 12,, the ifb 12 has a row of switches on it and would be the card you'll need. Or you'll need some type of a converter to bring your signal to RGB.

You either need a transcoder, an HDFury or an internal HDMI card. The RGBHV inputs on the back of the Sony are NOT component inputs, they are RGBHV inputs which are not the same as component, despite the color codes being the same. There's more on the interconnects here:
