I'm in the market for a new television, and was all prepared to make the jump to an LCD, but since I know I'm not ready for hi-def yet, I've been becoming concerned about how my standard def DVDs and cable broadcasts will look. So my question is, should I go ahead and get a budget-priced LCD [OLEVIA 32" 2 Series LCD HDTV (232V) $599.99 at Circuit City] or go with what I know [Sony 27" Flat Screen Digital TV (KD-27FS170) $405.99 at Circuit City]. I know HDTV is here to stay, but I'm thinking I might stick with the CRT for a while longer (2 years or so) and see what goes on with the format wars, and the evolving technology. But I'd love opinions.

Thanks
