SONY 30XS955 and XBOX360 owners, I need your help!

I am a noob on these boards and I just "bagged" myself a 30XS955, which I am so infatuated with at the moment. I also have a 360 and I would like to know what settings (color, picture, brightness, etc) do you guys have it for playing games on it? I'd really appreciate your responses. I eventually plan on getting a calibration DVD but that will have to wait till next payday for me in 2wks, and I really want to optimize my gaming and viewing pleasure with crisp, HD graphics. And btw, I was told to put the XBOX360 settings to 720p as opposed to the TV's native 1080i since it has a good scaler. Feedback/replies, pretty please!
