Hi all, I work in the television production industry and on all broadcast television equipment I can access and Hours Meter menu where I can view operating hours, etc. Its like viewing the mileage on a car, so it helps us professionals determine wear and tear on the equipment.


I was curious...is there and Hours Meter anywhere in the menus on the XBR4's. I didn't see one in the General Menu, what about the Service Menu?


For those of you who have accessed the Service Menu...is there and hours meter in there?


Any help is great!

I'd guess there is probably one in the service menu.

I've never encountered an hours meter on a routing switcher, or a d.a. tray. Typically only tape decks and cameras.

Exactly, as an Avid Editor and Director of Photography this is precisely what I was talking about.


I was curious if anyone has accessed the service menu and found something like this.
