Really wish Sony would have gone Mini-LED with high zone count ala Z9D. Disappointing.

This TV is stupidly expensive for what it is too.

No mini-LED, 60 dimming zones, the only improvement is the XR processor, which you can get from X90J. Disappointed. QN90A is still the LCD TV to beat.

No, the 950H is the panel to beat. It is superior to the X90J and the QN90A.

The QN90A is a DSE monster. The Z8H has better HDR, great contrast, no DSE and does not need the mini LEDs. Samsungs quality control is the worst . Three QN90A all with DSE and Banding, never again. People who say they has a QN90A without DSE don’t know what to look for or are just in denial.

Get a 75Z8H I picked one up for less than a 65 C1. I promise you every QN90A has DSE and banding, it’s the Samsung signature. After going through 3 65QN90A, I will never buy another Samsung QLED.

The ZH8 is not about 8K it is about having a great LCD with 2300 nits of HDR and no DSE.

The QN90A is with out a doubt the best LCD display I've ever seen. I have a great screen with no visible faults on my first try. So there are definitely good screens out there contrary to what others have received. It has great color volume and solid blacks that really are comparable to OLED. I personally was going to go for the 65 A80J but I couldn't get over the dimness of the screen or having to babysit an OLED. I came from KS8000 that already put out around 1500nit so screen brightness was an issue for me. The only thing Sony has going for it is motion IMHO and i have excellent motion on the QN90A so it is the best choice for me.

QN90A beats the LCDs from Sony only in the U.S and a small selection of countries where the QN90A is equipped with a VA panel. For the rest of the world, including europe and asia, we screwed as the QN90A is equipped with an IPS panel.

The Hisense U8G is also equiped with an IPS panel outside of the U.S.

So Sony will still have their way in the global market with their less then ideal 2021 LCDs cause dumb decisions by Samsung and Hisense.

Just got finished installing it with my buddy. Now it’s time to leave you all debate which is better Sony, LG or Samsung. I have decided to leave the arguing to you All. I will not be posting on avsforums. Too many people are continuing to attack people without penalty. I know now I have the best display ever made. It’s not even something I will waste my time debating anymore. 8390J, pure Heaven and I never settle for second best. Best of luck to the many LG OLED owners, they are Great displays and perfect for games. And to the many decent people like D-nice and others, thanks for your many contributions.
