I have no idea what forum to post this but. I am using the Duo to set Color Primaries with the Display Lt. If I have the standard colorspace selected on TV the x/y red and green adjustments only follow a diagonal line never getting any closer to standard. However if I set the TV colorspace to Wide (against all advice) I can easily "tame" the overshoot very close to the standard.

Any reason this would be a bad idea? It doesn't make much of a difference I can tell on real world viewing.

This is because the color management system can only desaturate color. It can't increase the saturation. Starting from an oversaturated baseline makes sense.
