What is the HT processor requirement to be use the Uncompressed Multi Channel Linear PCM Output format?


Will a standard DD DTS processor such as the Theta Casanova be able to to use this imrpoved sound format?

Can anyone talk about those formats? Do you need something else in the processor on top of standard DD and DTS capabilities to run those?

Yes.
The player has to decode them and either send it via HDMI or 5.1/7.1 analog multi-channel.
