This is weird -- I've seen Incredible Hulk and Kung-Fu Panda in the theatre and on DVD -- but the Sony Bravia display at Sam's had the weirdest -- I don't know how to describe it --
I know films are shot at 24p, and the 3:2 pull downs and stuff for 30p/60i whatever -- what's throwing me for a loop is on the Bravia, Hulk looked like it was shot on video! Panda looked like it was a cut scene from the video game...
It moved too slick, too -- I dunno! ARGH!
Is it the TV doing this, or is it just the way Blu-Ray movies look? If this is what BR is all about, I don't like it one bit. With Hulk, it felt like I was watching something from PBS made back in the 80s... Okay, maybe not the best analogy, but close as I can get.
