I'm looking to get either a Sony KDL40SL140 or KDL40S4100 not sure what the difference between the TVs are. If anyone could help me out that would be great as I just took 2 TVs back in the last two days as the Philips and Vizio I purchased both had problems.

Or I can get another Philips 42PFL7403D which I thought looked good but broke in a day as a huge purple bar went down the screen. The menu and info. box that always comes up when changing channels was very annoying as well.

I had a 40s4100 and I was not impressed with it at all.For the same price if not cheaper id look into the samsung ln40a530 or 550.
