I have a 4K HDR Sony Bravia XBR-55X800E. I have a Sony HD 4K Bluray player UBP-800, and a 4K Apple TV with the 4K Netflix service. Regardless of which device I use when the scene is at night or in a dark room the picture is terrible. I can barely see anything. The bright scenes are great but these are not.
I brought up the same show on my 1080P TV with my Gen 4 Apple TV and the picture in the dark is way better. It can't do the bright scenes as well as the 4K.
You should not have to have a Masters Degree in Television Calibration to get at least a decent picture on this TV.
I have done a lot of online research for calibration settings and none of the recommendations seem to have any effect.
Does anybody have an idea on what I should try or who else I could contact
