sony cdp-cx300

hi, i just fixed my changer, the arm to lift the cd inti the play position was broke so i replaced it. it works good now except the cd sometimes plays good or it will start skipping. i wipped offf the lens with rubbing alcohol and the cd's still skip. i tried cleaning a disc it skips on to no avail. is there any other adjustments i cam make . thanks shymot23
