It's SVGA LCD, 4:3 aspect with 16:9 squeeze capability, quiet, cheap bulb ($169 for 1000 hr bulb), has side keystoning (to correct L or right skewing due to imperfect PJ positioning), pleasant case, and MSRP for $2999 (street of $2500 probably). It is not that good of a deal in my opinion as you can get XGA LCD or DLP for less which should be better resolution and brightness than this unit. They are gouging you for "HT" model and a nice looking case with some interesting but less important features. I think its limitation will be apparent with more screen door and lower resolution for HDTV. For DVD it's probably adequate though I would go for NEC LT85 SVGA DLP for $1700 instead.
