Hi all

I have just worked out what is wrong with my D50 by swapping parts with another unit that i have found.

As it turns out the input board located at the back of the unit ( i dont know what its called) with the RGBHV inputs etc.. was faulty. When i swapped this with the second one the problems stopped.

My problem now is that this board also seems to hold the CRT and Chassis hours of the unit. The Current unit has 2000 hours. The new board has 9000 hours on it and this is now showing up on the unit instead of the original 2000 hours.

My question is how can i reset the Chassis hours on this board.

And also if its available can someone point me in the right direction for getting the schematics for the input board so i can get the faulty one repaired

Thanks for any advice

Regards

I'd send that board straight to Bruce (techman707). Other than Sony that will charge insane amounts of money, he's about the only guy around here that can fix it.
