Does anyone know anything about this Sony Model: CX985V


Need to know if 2 of these units can link together. Its a 400 Disk changer, and my father is wanting to get 2 of these and make them work as 1. Any suggestions?

I saw a guy here just the other day talking about "daisy chaining" a second 400 disc player as well. I'get the idea it can be done. Here's a free bump in the meantime while I see about digging this up for ya.

You can daisy chain them. And you can select the IR signature (1,2 or 3) for each device.

I'm looking at the manual. I see where you can pick the IR signature, but I don't see anything about "daisy chaining" more than one changer together. I don't see any connections that would support this. Is there something I'm missing?
