Current NEC HT1000 owner, for over 1 year now. I've had the upgrade bug for a bit now, and sorta looking at the HS51. I never thought I'd consider a LCD over a DLP, although this certainly looks interesting. While I understand the contrast might not be, exactly the same, there are some very nice aspects of the Sony such as the very low fan noise which is extra nice to me. My projector is table top, and sits about 1-2 feet from me, you can hear it very much in any quite scene. I guess my concern is how really will the Sony compare to the contrast and colors of the NEC HT1000, has anyone actually had a chance to compare both?
Any thoughts would be great!
