Hello,

I currently have a 5.1 setup. SVS SCS-01 LCR and SBS-01 as surrounds with a HSU VTF-15H sub(on it's way). I am considering picking up a 9.2 AVR which allows DSX wide and highs. I have Sony HTIB speakers available, would using them as front wides/highs or even rear surrounds be an improvement or would it detract from the sound quality of the SVS speakers?

Thank You,

Daniel

I am using my old samsung hst720 speakers as my front heights with my pioneer 1120 receiver. The rest of my set is polk and i love the sound they put out. Not many moveis use them but try them out with dolby height and they sound aawesome!
