I am trying to determine the resolution of a source that is coming into my TV.

In my situation I have a Xbox game coming into the HDTV input into my tv. The game claims to support 720p resolutions. I would like to confirm this. I can not figure out how to determine what the source signal is.

Is this even possible to figure out with this tv?

Thanks!

No way that I am aware of.

What XBOX game is claiming 720p support? I don't know of any games released for XBOX that support anything higher than 480p, is it a pre-release or something?

To determine the source coming into your HDTV, start with the HDTV off. Then hit the 'Display' button, followed by the number '5' button, then the '+' on the Volume selector, then turn the power on. The readout in the lowest portion of the upper right hand side will tell you what the source is (480i, 480p, 720p, etc.)

Are there other commands like this?

Can the source of this be purchased? If so, where?

Thanks for any input.
