Hey there!


I've been researching the following models and just trying to decide on which one to get! What are your opinions?


Sony KDL-40XBR9


Samsung LN40B750


I can get the Sony locally, but as for the Samsung I'd have no choice but to get it online (probably Amazon or Newegg). Both seem pretty nice. I hear so much positive feedback regarding the Samsung model and I can't find as many reviews/feedback on the Sony. I'm going to use it primarily for gaming (PS3/Xbox 360), watching Blu-rays, and watching plain ol' TV. Any thoughts/opinions? Appreciate it!

I am thinking of buying one of these 2 sets also and all the reviews I have read have the Samsung beating the Sony on all levels.

your taking a BIG risk if you get the Sony XBR9.....i went through 2 sets that had very bad clouding.....sonys quality control in mexico is GARBAGE.....i returned it for the LNXXB750 yesterday.....not a Cloud in the sky!..lol....as for gaming if you do get the samsung (which i hope you do)...you will have to turn GAME MODE on...if not you will have some input lag....
