Sony KDL-52W4100 is the T-Con board bad

Sony KDL-52W4100 is about 2 1/2 years old. Started with small blocks at first now block are over screen. Is there anyway to tell if this is the T-Con board? Any help would greatly be appreciated. I wasnt able to get pictures to upload so I posted them on photobucket.

Mine is the same. Any ideas what could be wrong? I bought a TCON Board 404652ASNC6LV4.5 board and replaced it. It was worse. Only vertical lines and no Menu text on screen. Could it be that the TCON board I got was not the right one? It was the same Part number. Image is with the original TCON Board.

I have the same issue. When I changed out my T-Con board the problem was the same. The next thing I have narrowed to is the BU board and if its not that I am afraid that it might be a bad panel. If that is the case it is going to be about 1500 to replace the panel i.e. NOT WORTH IT. I have a picture on my thread if you weant to look at it and see if your problems are similar. Good luck and if I find anything else out I'll let you know!

Finally found a TCON board and replaced it. It fixed my line/box issue. Thanks for the help all.

Hey Wooward I have the same issue with my sony tv I was wondering where you got your tcon board and how did you find the right one?
