I have same problem, just not as bad as your set. i haven't found a solution either.

Sony KDL-55HX701 Picture Clouds?
I have a KDL-55HX701 from Sony, and I am having picture issues.
There are three to four vertical lines (clouds?) that run from left to right. I have tried a factory reset, and have updated the firmware (per Sony), with no change. The issue is present on all inputs.
Anyone else ever have this issue? Thanks
