As of this year, more than 50% of Sony TV's will utilise the best LCD panels available at the moment – Sharp LCD panel - because they don't use TAB process AND have the best LCD panels overall.

... careful thou not to get one with LCD panel that uses TAB process to feed signals from T-CON board to LCD panel… and that’s like EVERYTHING Sony manufactured until this year!


Want to stick with Sony this and coming years? Good – you’ll be getting the TV that has hart and guts developed and manufactured by Sharp!

sony and samsung have the best lcd products since many years (just look at reviews and forums) and sony have used panel developed and manufactured by samsung, and sony/samsung (sony is well known to have better electronic with same panels)
