Between the KDL65W850A (around 2K) and the KDL70W850B ($300 more, out next month) displays.

The KDL70W850B is larger, but doesn't have the Triluminos display, does that make that much of a difference?

I had considered the Vizio new models, but the reliability of them is too risky for me to consider seriously.

thanks

hello there maybe by now you guys bought a tv already, but here goes the answer.

does it worth it? yes, but it really depends on the size of the screen, if you are trying to buy something above 60" it will make a difference, since the screen is bigger you will be able to see the details so the better resolution the less "squares" that you will see, this triluminous makes the scene look more natural and colors will looke g=brighter so the scenes will have more detail, if you are gonna buy a smaller screen 50, 55, then the difference will be there but the screen will be so "small" than you wont be able to tell.

i would go for the 55" triluminos or if you want a 70"  look for a samsung or sharp top of the line which is about the same price as the 65" sony.

happy buying!        i own a 65" sony triluminos

thank you for your relpy but I already bought the 70" R550A. The daily deal price of $1500 at bestbuy was to hard to pass by.
