New to this forum but not to HDTV. I have a Sony KDS-60A3000 that won't connect via HDMI to a BDP-S300 OR a Satellite HD DVR HR21-700. Even my Onkyo TX-SR875 won't display the onscreen setup menu via HDMI. The only device I can get to work is the older Satellite H10 HD Receiver. From what I've read and from what sony posted on their site this appears to be a known issue with this model. It appears to be an HDCP handshake issue of some sort. I'm hoping someone out there has a 60A3000 that is working with HDMI and can look at the software version for me. Mine is EN-BMN-A-L-C-D-T-B-T. I've got to believe that a Sony Blue Ray shouldn't have compatibility issues with a Sony Bravia TV. The BDP has firmware of 3.7 that I just updated. Component isn't an option since I have RapidRun Digital Runners in the wall and can only accept HDMI or DVI.
