Okay, I've hooked up my brand new, kicking HTPC to a Sony KLV-23HR1 . Currently I am using a 9800 Pro with the DVI->Component Adapter.
The resolution of the screen is the 1280x768, but is still supposed to be 16:9. (This does not make sense as it is an LCD and should have square pixels, right?) Right now, I have it displayed at 1280x720, and it is producing overscan on all sides. 1280x768 is no better. How can I get the dang thing to display 1:1?
P.S. The LCD is just a hold over until I move out of my house to college and get a new set the DVI. I just want to get the dang thing working right now. (I want my Olympics in HD.
