Service guys from Sears came to do "annual" maintenance. First time since I bought it a few years back mostly because the TV still looked great and gave me absolutely no problems - which is not what I expected based on what I had heard from many RP TV owners prior to purchasing the TV. Turned out, the TV was surprisingly clean and nothing was out of alignment but the service guy messed up the focus and I now get this RED aurora looking effect when I turn the TV on or off.

He wouldn't admit that he messed up the focus and caused the RED effect on the TV. He claimed that you can't mess up the focus using just the remote control. It appears he changed the factory baseline setting inadvertantly. The "magic focus" button on the TV seems to adjust the focus back to the "new" baseline setting so it doesn't help.

What should I tell the next service guy who comes out to fix the problems created by the first service guy? Is focus something I can adjust myself?
