I'm using a Sony KV-DA32 CRT, and I was wondering whether I should have Progressive scan enabled on my DVD player.

All my DVD's are PAL. Do you need NTSC DVD's to take advantage of Progressive Scan?

Are there actually any differences between PAL and NTSC DVD's (eg. is the resolution of each frame on a PAL DVD smaller or larger than that of an NTSC DVD, and if NTSC runs at 30fps vs PAL's 25, does that mean there is actually more data on an NTSC DVD)???

I cant use the 100Hz function on the KV-DA32 when Progressive Scan is enabled, so will it be flickering at 50 or 60 hertz?
