Sony PFM-42B2 42" HD -- Guidance?

Right now I can get a great deal on a 42" Sony PFM-42B2 from a well known online retailer.

Other than its 1024x1024 resolution and the fundamental technical specifications, I haven't been able to find much information on this panel from the user community.

I'm seeking user feedback and advice to help me make a decision to buy a Sony this week.

Thanks all who are willing to contriute their experience.

Unfortunately, you won't find much information here on Sony plasmas. I hate to admit it, but there is an anti-sony bias here for a number or reasons. I won't get into that, but as far as i know about the plasma, i think it uses the same panel as the consumer 42" HD, so find some more information that one.

Anti-Sony Bias---

No, I think not. Since "Picture Quality" is weighted above Connections, Design, Specifications, etc., the Sony does not stand up to the Panasonic, Fuji, Pioneer or the Hitachi when measuring PQ.
