Hi everyone. I just got the official Sony PS3 Bluetooth Headset. So far it connected and works great, except for one small thing. When I place the headset in it's charging cradle, the red light on the headset begins blinking to indicate that it's charging. It eventually turns solid red to show that it is fully charged. After having a solid red ring for a couple of hours, it will then randomly start blinking again for about 10 minutes, then go back to a solid ring, and so on. Does this mean that the headset is not holding its charge? Thanks in advance guys.

It's normal. I have 2 Sony headsets so when I'm not using one it's sitting in the cradle and does the same thing that you've described. I haven't noticed any loss of battery charge and I use the headset every night until I'm prompted to charge it to which I switch one headset out for the other. You're fine.

I plug my Sony headset into permanent powered USB hub. The headset usually stays with solid red light but every so often, it blinks for a few minutes. I'm guessing it checks the headset power level to determine if it needs recharging.
