I am selling a Sony VPL-FH500L projector and Sony VPLL-Z4011 lens. Both of the, have a total of two hours use. I purchased these items for an outdoor cinema project which is no longer taking place hence the need to sell.

I am selling both for a combined (both lens and projector) price of £5100 including shipping to anywhere in the UK. This a fantastic price as to buy both new would cost between £9000 and £10,500 depending on the retailer.

Both the lens and projector have 2 hours use! These are professional high-end pieces of equipment and can produce an image of unto 600 inches diagonal. I have all original packaging and accessories.

The VPL-FH500L's outstanding portfolio of features allows it to offer class-leading projection performance even in the most challenging of environments. Its 7,000 Lumens Colour Light Output brightness, its zoom and its wide lens shift range, allow it to deliver the clearest image where other projectors would struggle - even in high ambient light.

Once installed, the VPL-FH500L has excellent image capabilities and a long lifespan that delivers low Total Cost of Ownership. Sony's BrightEra technology improves and maintains colour purity throughout the life of the system by protecting the LCD panels against harmful ultra violet light. Clever features such as dual auto-switching lamps, and synchronised lamp and filter replacement cycles, reduce maintenance costs and downtime.

Featuring the usual wide range of inputs, an external monitor connection for the presenter's convenience, and advanced projection capabilities such as side-by-side image projection and DICOM medical training, the VPL-FH500L is the projector of choice for venues that demand the highest quality in the most practical, flexible form.

I've recently begun the search for a bright "4000+" lumen projector for an extra large screen 300+ inch home theater. How would you rate this models ability to generate an AV color range. Not looking for perfection, but better than the average office board room projector.

Much appreciated

Thanks for your comment. The color range is fantastic, it's not quite as high as vpl-vw1100es or a vpl-hw55es but the colour range is definitely a lot better than a typical board room projector. you might have to tweak few settings to get it looking just the way you want but this is a very capable projector and the colour range is excellent. Have tried it out with a few sections of different movies and the quality as excellent. Would use it in my own room but I can't justify using 7000 lumens in my smallish room.

Are you thinking about possibly purchasing? If you have any other questions just let me know.

Many thanks.

Sony's BrightEra Panel Technology gives more accurate colour rendition, higher brightness and longer lifespan for a lower Total Cost of Ownership. The VPL-FH500L offers brightness and color matching adjustment to the original image for complete image accuracy.

Would you be interested in purchasing at £3000?
