Sony VPL-HW55ES

Hi All,

I just bought the Sony VPL-HW55ES and have read so many conflicting strings/posts about the 3D on this that I am just left confused.

Are the IR Glasses included really that bad? When I did comparisons 3 years or so ago for our 3D HDTV's, I preferred Passive over Active, and have greatly enjoyed the Passive 3D on our LG HDTV's.

So it seems that with my projector I will finally have to go with Active 3D. Is the upgrade to RF really that big of a deal?

It also seems that everyone in the UK gets the Sony convertor cable, and it is hit or miss in the USA for getting this $75 cable.

So in addition to this cable, what is the best RF Emitter/Glasses combo without breaking the bank for this projector?
