I have been reading many posts here asking to compare sony vs samsung. I posted one my self. So how about a poll, unscientific, which to you prefer?

I prefer both and went with one over the other based on price. No set is perfect and each will have +'s and -'s in comparison depending on the person, needs and preference. They both make great TVs and putting a vote on it is pointless. If you're comparing specific models then that could be relevant but comparing brand names as a whole, umm.

I like SONY a lot, but I voted Samsung because considering all things, I think both companies' models at every price range are pretty comparable, however SONY likes to charge more simply for their name. Which is why Samsung gets my nod.
