Sony VW 11, automatic contrast adjustment?

There is a press release on hometheatermag.com website that says that the new Sony projector will feature automatic light adjustment to improve contrast. I have not seen this mentioned. Anyone know anything about this. As has been stated here before Sony is also claiming double the contrast of the VW 10 and also is claiming better fine detail. Looks like this projector is replacing the VW 10 and not co-existing with it.
