Sony X95G USB HDD Recording!!!!! Plz read! :-(

It's typical for manufacturers to have different features in different regions. My US TV lacks features that it's UK equivalent has built in, but also costs far less. You can't compare similar models across regions as manufacturers tailor features for specific markets. I personally use an NVIDIA Shield with a USB OTA adapter as my DVR.

1- could that be fixed in any way? A hack, an update.

2- if i buy a pvr satellite receiver, which allows live recording on a usb attached to the receiver, can i record on the receiver's usb? Or i cant because the tv itself doesn't have this feature?

I am interested in this feature!
My question is, Can I record channels on the background while watching other channels? or only recording one current channel

I didn't see any video on YOUTUBE about this issue

You need two LNBs directed at the satellite('s) were your programms come from for that, one for watching and one for recording.

A satellite receiver works independent from TVs internal satellite receiver.
Satellite receivers have all sorts of specs. Check out what specs are out there before buying such receiver. For instance there are ones that allow for only one LNB. Or onces that have internal harddisc for recording as well as external (which is a option that allows for recording from a extern harddisc/USB).
There are all sorts of receivers. Not all work well especially when there is a internal harddisc and recording options. Check out reviews and user experiences.
