I have the Monster Cable Monsterbass 300 Sub woofer 12ft cable I bought years ago, before I joined this site. Does anyone know if this cable is rated for in wall use? I am working on my basement and turning it into a HT room, and want to hide the wires...

Thanks,

Jeff

Run a RG6 quad shielded cable in the wall to a low voltage box that you can terminate with a RCA jack. Crimp your own connectors on the ends. It will look a lot better then a cable hanging out of the wall.

By the way depending on the room I would run cables to very corner and known good spots to place a sub while you can. That is where RG6 will save you money and time.
