Sort of OT: Lumagen IR failure?

This is sorta OT, but CRT related..


I sold a Lumagen HDP to Europe, and the customer called and complained that the IR didn't work. I sent him another TESTED unit. He's complaining about the same thing!


I've emailed him to check the basics, but has anyone had an issue with the IR receiver/tx on these? I haven't, and will be calling Lumagen in a bit, but wanted some input from here...
