Hi All,
I just recently purchased a 55" Sony (KDL-55W800B) and I love it so far, but the sound quality wasn't that great so I purchased a Sony soundbar (CT260H).
Any how, I noticed that sometimes when I change channels, there is a slight delay between for the sound to come through. I am using the optical cable provided by Sony.
Also, I have connected my Blu-Ray player to the HDMI port of the soundbar and then connected it to the HDMI (ARC) port of my TV but no sound comes out when I play blu ray discs or DVDs. I have to use the optical cable. Is this normal or is it because I'm using a generic HDMI cable?
Is ARC even that important? I do not have a xBox or PS4 etc.
Thanks in advance.
