Hey everyone,
Sorry for the noobish question, but Google hasn't been the most helpful, and I've always had great luck here.
I'm currently running a 2.0 system w/ Polk Monitor 60 Series II for my fronts and being powered by the Pioneer VSX-1021-K. I've had a center channel sitting in my closet for some time now, and I was looking for any ideas on if it would be worth installing or keep running the Phantom Center setup I currently have.
The specs of the center are:
Whatmough Magnum M205 Center
Configuration 2-Way sealed enclosure
Nominal Impedance 6 ohms
Amplifier Power Requirement 40 - 120 Watts
Sensitivity 88 dB @2.83V (1W into 8 ohms)
Frequency Response 75 - 40kHz ±3dB
and the fronts are:
Polk Audio Monitor 60 Series II
Driver Units
Tweeter Complement: one 1" cloth dome
Driver Complement: three 5.25" Bi-Laminate driver
Power Rating 20-200W
Frequency Response 38Hz-25kHz
Nominal Impedance 8 Ohm
Sensitivity 90db
Thanks
