I used to have my receiver setup to an old regular tube TV and recently upgraded to an LCD. Is it true that having an LCD HDTV with 240Hz will delay the picture when using a seperate receiver. I hear the sound before it shows up on the picture...It's a delay my receiver cannot compensate enough for when using the "Sync" setting on my receiver. I have a PS3 that uses HDMI for picture (PS3 HDMI to LCD) and "Optical" Cable for sound (PS3 Optical Cable to Receiver). I've never had any problems with receiver for my needs but since getting the TV their has been a syncing issue and some people at Best Buy have concluded that it's because newer TV's have more to process and thats why the picture isn't as fast as the sound.

Not sure who to believe...Hopefully you guys can help
