I bought a Philips 42" a week ago. This is my first HDTV purchase so I'm sure there are things I've overlooked, but I have a bad problem with lag. The sound is off by a few milliseconds. This is particularly noticeable with short sounds like clanks and gunshots, but I also notice it in dialog when mouths don't sync with the audio. I cannot find manual settings on my TV for adjusting sound timing, and I do not have an AV reciever. Does anyone know what this is about and what I can do about it? Thanks!
