I have read all the rage about the M-Audio soundcards for HTPC.


My question is this:


Does the card actually DO anything if you are simply passing DD/DTS thru it to you receiver?

Yes it does. The Delta soundcard provides high quality components that actually encode the S/PDIF and provides a line driver to transmit the S/PDIF with low jitter.
