About a year or so ago I saw a clock from a Russian submarine being offered for home theater decoration. The tie in was Hunt For Red October, of course. It had a red hammer and cycle emblem on the face.


I've forgotten where that was offered. Does anyone have any idea where these are for sale?

I thought it was at the Sharper Image, but a quick search of their web site didn't find anything. However, I found 3 or 4 on ebay just by searching for "submarine clock"!

Thanks guys. After posting this, I decided to do an internet search and found someone selling the same ones Sharper Image sold. About $95. I'll check out the $79 source mentioned above also.


My son is dating a Russian girl and he also has a serious dedicated home theater. I thought the submarine clock, ala Hunt For Red October, might make an interesting gift.


By the way, the commute to Russia for dating purposes has turned out to be a bit time consumming for him. He's there now so I know he won't see this post.
