Forgive my ignorance on the terminology - I hooked up my new 4805 last night, watched a few minutes of SD cable (CBS - some cop show, while I hooked up the speakers), then watched baseball on ESPNHD for a while, and I was thrilled with my huge new screen and all. Everything was great, then I started flipping through the channels a bit and found my way down to the standard channels again. And then the image the screen put forth was a "screen and a half." I don't know what else to call it - the full image that I'm supposed to see was moved all the way to the left, and to the right of that full image, there was the left half of the image again. I changed to another channel and it didn't help. Even the program guide (TimeWarner digital cable) was 1.5 screens. I switched the setting from Native to 4:3 to 16:9 back to Native, and nothing helped.
Please tell me this is common and that there is an easy way to fix this. Thanks.
