It just started tonite, it is intermittent, and can be quite frigging loud. The wife is about to lose it. We are trying to watch Season 5 of The Wire again.........

What is going on and what should I do? Need some guidance here. I bought a 3 year warranty with this unit, if that helps.

Thanks in advance, guys.

Yours is still working?

Wow, mine croaked after 3,800 hours.

It was the well documented "fried power supply" issue...

Not that InFocus will ever acknowledge that...

My SP5700 lasted several years and was great but then died. I bought some parts, sent it to Spectronix, and it has just sat and sat for almost a year waiting on a board, which never materialized. In APril I requested it be sent back to me, and gave a credit card number to pay for Fedex shipping. It never showed up. Now they cannot find it. Today I informed them they best find it post haste or they will be replacing it, functioning or not.

Back up about a year and I picked up this 7200 with included three year warranty, so it's going to be fixed. I do have my eye on a 7210 next and I'll get a warranty on it unless I can get something to outperform the 7200 series, pre-owned for $1,000 or less.

Any suggestions? I just don't have time to study these PJs anymore.....THANKS!

Yeah of all the projectors out there, Infocus is probably the one that people know the top 2-4 issues that have plagued it. Not sure why, but I would have to suspect it is because so many were sold and talked about on the AVSForum.
